The European Water Association is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization addressing the management and improvement of the aquatic environment.
Thanks to the incorporation as a research member of this association, IHCantabria will have the opportunity to increase its positioning and visibility in the field of water, mainly at European level, as well as to increase our presence in forums and events of a greater scope.
It is one of Europe’s leading professional associations that focuses its work and research on all areas related to the water cycle, with the aim of contributing to sustainable water management, a secure water supply and the protection of the water and soil environment through the exchange of knowledge.
In this way, the European Water Partnership provides a forum for the discussion of key technical and policy issues in Europe and its regions through the organization of different events, conferences, workshops, meetings, special working groups with recognized experts…
The association represents approximately 50,000 professionals working in the field of water and environmental management and is composed of 24 leading professional organizations in Europe and in their respective countries in terms of knowledge and management of this natural resource.
Its members reflect the geographical and professional dimension of the association itself and its work, enabling cooperation, dialogue and exchange of knowledge across borders.
