IHDATA
IHData is the collective name for a database developed by the Environmental Hydraulics Institute of the Universidad de Cantabria. IHData is capable of providing accurate wind/wave/sea level climatological statistics for any European country and wave climate for any region worldwide.
These data can be considered to have a similar accuracy as that of buoy/gauge data. A range of products has been designed to provide historical data on wind, waves and sea level.
IHData comprises the following data bases:
GOW: Oceanic Waves at global/regional scale.
DOW: Coastal Waves at high spatial resolution.
SeaWind: RegionalOffshore winds.
SeaWind-HR: Coastal winds at high spatial resolution.
GOS: Coastal meteo-induced sea level (storm surges).
GOT: Hourly time series of astronomical tide.
