IHCantabria’s contribution to the scientific understanding of tidal phenomena: a journey along the coast of Cantabria
IHCantabria research staff will continue to analyze the information they receive on the tidal situation on the Cantabrian coast, in order to inform the authorities in charge of coastal and port management in a timely manner, so that they can take the necessary measures to prevent or avoid possible risks in the most exposed areas of the coast.
A workshop on the characterization of riparian vegetation addressed key challenges for the management of river ecosystems, at IHCantabria
The objectives of this workshop were to identify the needs of the public administration in the management and assessment of riparian vegetation, to review existing methodologies at different scales and to detect knowledge gaps in order to propose improvements through the use of remote sensing.
