New incorporations in IHCantabria thanks to the “Jóvenes con Talento” Programme, co-financed by the European Union
Group of ten young professionals who have recently joined different groups and areas of IHCantabria
The newly incorporated personnel will contribute in different areas of IHCantabria, both in administrative tasks and in research and technology transfer projects
The Environmental Hydraulics Institute of the University of Cantabria (IHCantabria) has recently incorporated ten young professionals who will be integrated into different groups and areas of the institute, to perform functions both in the administrative area and in tasks related to research and technology and knowledge transfer.
This incorporation has been possible thanks to the financing granted to IHCantabria by the Cantabrian Employment Service of the Ministry of Industry, Employment, Innovation and Commerce of the Government of Cantabria, through the “Jóvenes con Talento” Programme, within the framework of the Youth Guarantee (File No.: JT/2024/016), co-financed by the European Union.
The “Jóvenes con Talento” Programme is aimed at entities of the public institutional sector in Cantabria and non-profit organizations, with the objective of improving the employability of young people by hiring them on an employment basis, providing them with a first quality professional experience.
This grant has a total funding of 350,122.50 euros, which is 60% co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). This action is framed within Priority 5, focused on promoting “Youth Employment”, and contributes to the Specific Objective ESO4.1, focused on facilitating access to employment for young people and unemployed or inactive people.
The persons hired under this program are: Edén Hoya Rodríguez, Valeria Ruiz Peña, Irene Rodríguez Vega, Ismael Sánchez Arenas, Iria Río Lado, Paula Jaramillo Rodríguez, Diego Herrero García, Javier Pérez Ojeda, Pablo Revuelta Aja and Jorge García López.
During the implementation period 2025-2026, this new staff will support various lines of activity in IHCantabria, reinforcing its commitment to the professional training of young people in Cantabria and to the development of solutions in the service of sustainability and applied knowledge.
