Eva Romano Moreno is a Civil Engineer from the University of the Basque Country (2015) and Master in Coastal and Port Engineering from the University of Cantabria (2016).

After two years working in an engineering company, in 2018 she joined IHCantabria where she completed her PhD (2018-2023; PhD in Coastal Engineering, Hydrobiology and Management of Aquatic Systems, University of Cantabria).

She is currently working in the Ports and Coastal Infrastructures group, mainly focusing on projects of advanced harbor wave climate characterization – harbor wave agitation and moored ship response – port operability.
