SONIA OMARY GUARDADO
Biography
Sonia Guardado is part of the Ports and Coastal Infrastructure group at IHCantabria, where she has been a technologist since September 2023. She graduated in civil engineering from the Universidad Tecnologica de Honduras, UNITEC in 2017. For 3 and a half years she worked in the area of energy transmission and distribution in Honduras, participating in national and international projects in this sector.
In 2022 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Coasts and Ports, specializing in risk management from the Universidad de Cantabria.
Currently her area of work is focused on the numerical modelling of moored ship dynamics for the characterization of port operability.
