IGNACIO AGUIRRE AYERBE
Biography
Nacho Aguirre Ayerbe has a degree in Geography from the Universidad de Cantabria and has specific training in Natural Risks and Adaptation to Climate Change. He has a Master’s Degree in Analysis Techniques, Evaluation and Sustainable Management of Processes and Natural Risks from the Universidad de Cantabria.
He also has specific training, including doctoral studies at the University of Alcalá de Henares, in the use of geospatial tools and their application in the field of natural hazards, such as photogrammetry, geographic information systems and remote sensing; training received at the University of Edinburgh, University of Alcalá de Henares, Polytechnic University of Madrid and National Geographic Institute of Spain and Universidad de Cantabria.
He is currently working as technologist at IHCantabria participating in different international projects related to Vulnerability and Risk assessment to natural hazards.
