DINA VANESA GÓMEZ
Biography
Dina is a Civil Engineer from the University of Antioquia (Colombia), with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the same university, and a Master’s degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Management from the University of Alcalá de Henares.
During her professional career she has worked as a design engineer in consultancy, and as a lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Antioquia.
She is currently a student of the PhD programme in Coastal Engineering, Hydrobiology and Management of Aquatic Systems; her training and academic work focuses on flooding risk analysis using advanced statistical techniques.
