Biography

Cristina has a degree in Marine Sciences from the University of Alicante and has completed the Official Master's Degree in Coastal and Port Engineering at the University of Cantabria, where she obtained her degree with the defence of the dissertation "Sensitivity analysis of the source of generation and boundary conditions in the evaluation of tsunami inundation in coastal areas".

During her academic training she carried out extracurricular internships in the Aranea Group, participating in the study of environmental impacts and inventories for the design of a coastal corridor in Alicante, as well as in the Coastal Ecosystems group of IHCantabria, where she participated in the development of field campaigns and literature review work on the ecology of bivalves.

Currently, she is a student of the PhD programme in Coastal Engineering, Hydrobiology and Management of Aquatic Systems, developing her activity as a predoctoral researcher in the Coastal Ecosystems group of IHCantabria.
