Biography

Industrial Technical Engineer. Specialization in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Cantabria. Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention in three technical specialties: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.

His professional experience began in 2005, as an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician in External Prevention Services. He has provided technical advice to a multitude of companies in different sectors, health and safety inspections at work, coordination of safety aspects in facilities and works, risk assessments -in safety, physical and chemical agents, ergonomics, development and implementation of emergency plans- and a multitude of tasks related to health and safety at work.

At the end of 2022, he joined IHCantabria as Prevention Technician, where he is in charge of integrating prevention into the general management system – which includes all activities and all hierarchical levels -, of ensuring the safety and health of all workers and of promoting interest and cooperation in preventive action.
