Biography
Master's Degree in Business Management and Administration from the Universidad de Cantabria and a registered economist since 1997, Bachelor's Degree in Labor Relations from the Universidad de Cantabria, certified Senior Specialist in Occupational Risk Prevention by the Center for Financial Studies in Madrid since 1998 and, Master's Degree in Taxation and Tax Counseling from the Distance University of Madrid in 2012.
His professional career, from 1997 to the present, has been linked to the Region of Cantabria. He was a Controller, Financial Director, Human Resources Director and Deputy General Manager in various private sector companies until the end of 2013.
In January 2014, he was appointed administrator of the Research and Technology Transfer Management Unit at the Universidad de Cantabria's Institute of Environmental Hydraulics, a position he holds to this day. His duties include overseeing and coordinating legal, financial and administrative aspects for over 200 research and/or consulting projects undertaken during this period.
