BEGOÑA SÁNCHEZ ASTRAÍN
Biography
Begoña has a degree in Marine Sciences from the University of Alicante and has completed the Official Master in Industrial and Agrifood Biotechnology at the University of Almeria. She is currently developing her PhD with a predoctoral FPI grant funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (Ref.: PRE2020-096255).
She has worked in the field of microalgae biotechnology in several European projects and currently her research work is focused on the study of different macroalgae communities in the Cantabrian coast using biological experimentation and species modeling.
