IHWIND is a modification of the standard OpenFoam© SimpleFoam solver, considering the Richard and Hoxey models as input boundary conditions. It is used for the homogeneous two-dimensional atmospheric boundary layer in neutral stratification.
IHWIND has been used for consultancy work focusing mainly on risk assessment analysis, micrositting and energy assessment, study of offshore structures and design of coastal structures.
