Climate Change is one of the most serious problems facing our planet. That is why both the characterization of the climate and a study of the effects and consequences derived from climate change are particularly relevant these days.
In recent years, the Marine Climate and Climate Change Group has become a leader in the development, characterization and analysis of climate data (marine and hydrometeorological). This has allowed for the development and application of methodologies to study the impacts of climate change on the coast, from risk modeling and analysis to the design of strategies and adaptation measures
The knowledge and multidisciplinary nature of its staff allows combining the modeling of physical processes with a much more integrated vision of the problems that affect our coasts to yield innovative solutions at every scale (local, regional, national and global).
