Sonia Fernández García holds degrees in Executive Secretary and Higher Technician in Administration.

 

Her professional career began in 2000 as an executive secretary and administrative assistant in various companies primarily dedicated to the engineering and services sectors.

 

In October 2011, she joined the Environmental Hydraulics Institute of the University of Cantabria (IHCantabria) within the Economic Management Unit, where she performed management and administrative tasks.

 

Since May 2024, she has been part of the Human Resources Management Unit, where she handles, among other duties, the management and publication of public personnel calls, the maintenance of the personnel database, the execution of wellness actions, the control of the training plan, and actions of the equality plan.
