Laura Pérez García
Biography
Graduated in Environmental Sciences in 2021 from the University of Alcalá de Henares (UAH). Subsequently, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Environmental Assessment and Monitoring of Marine and Coastal Ecosystems from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2021.
She has been working for a year as a technologist in international and national projects on climate change adaptation in coastal urban areas, integrated coastal management and tsunami risk prevention.
She is currently working in the Oceanography, Estuaries and Water Quality Group, where she is conducting doctoral research on estuarine hydrodynamics and the trapping service provided by estuarine vegetation to reduce plastic pollution in seas and oceans.
