Biography

Jonathan Valle Rodríguez holds a degree in Physics from the National University of Callao (Peru). He holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Physical Oceanography from the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education in Ensenada, Baja California (Mexico). He also completed a doctoral stay at the Department of Applied Physics at the University of Cadiz (Spain).

He is currently a technologist in the Oceanography, Estuaries and Water Quality group, working on the GOS-GLOBAL project of the Marine Sciences program. Among his activities is the simulation of storm surge (sea level produced by atmospheric effects) on the European coasts and the Mediterranean.

Storm surge simulation, hindcast and projections.
