Biography

His professional career began at the University of Santander, where he joined the E.T.S. de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos on October 1, 1979 as a Career Officer of the General Subordinate Corps.

Since January 1, 1987, he has been a Career Officer of the General Auxiliary Administrative Body of the State, in the Provincial Direction of the Ministry of Education and Science in Cantabria, being assigned to the secretariat of the “Bernardino de Escalante” High School Institute, serving later in the Provincial Direction of the Ministry of Education and Science in Santander until September 1991 when he joins the secretariat of the Veronoles Vocational Training Institute, where he will remain until April 1, 1993.

Since April 2, 1993, he has been part of the staff of Administration and Services of the Universidad de Cantabria, being assigned as a base administrative post in the Department of Transport and Technologies of Projects and Processes until November 15, 1997, when he becomes Administrative Manager of the Department of Water and Environment Sciences and Techniques.

Since June 2006 he has been a Career Officer of the General Administrative Body of the Universidad de Cantabria, joining the Institute of Environmental Hydraulics in September 2007 as Administrator of the Unit, where he currently remains.
