Biography
Isabel Toca is a graduate in Environmental Sciences from the University of Salamanca, where she obtained her degree after defending her final degree project “Invasive alien species. The specific case of Cortaderia selloana in Ribamontán al Monte (Cantabria)”. Isabel completed her studies with a Master’s degree in Biology and Conservation of Biodiversity, defending her thesis “Analysis of Iberian-Balearic Endemisms present in Castilla y León” in 2022.
During her academic training she did an extracurricular internship at the Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabárceno, carrying out specific tasks as a veterinary assistant.
She is currently working as a technologist in the Coastal Ecosystems group at IHCantabria.
