Biography

Nacho Pérez Silos is graduate in Environmental Sciences by the Miguel de Cervantes University and a Msc in Environmental Management of Water Systems by the Universidad de Cantabria. In 2016 he obtained an FPU grant to finance the development of his doctoral thesis focused on the design and implementation of green / blue infrastructure networks in mountain river basins to maximize the ecosystem services that they provide to society. In this way, his line of research is based on the modelling of vegetation, ecosystem functioning patterns and physical processes of the basin at the landscape scale; research and characterization of solutions based on nature as elements of green infrastructure; and the monitoring of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems of natural spaces.
