Biography
Responsible for the supercomputing area within the information technology laboratory at IHCantabria, he has extensive experience in the field of supercomputing.
With more than 20 years of experience in the sector, he has developed specialized technical skills in virtualization infrastructures, Cloud Computing, storage systems and data center architecture (CPD).
He is currently responsible for the management and administration of the Neptuno supercomputing cluster, as well as the center’s virtualized infrastructure. His experience includes configuration, maintenance, monitoring, as well as the implementation of security measures, automation and resource optimization to ensure efficient and safe operation.
He works closely with both the IT technical staff and the institute’s researchers to meet their needs, technical requirements, in technological design, decisions and execution on the technological infrastructure.
