CRISTINA CASAL
Biography
Civil Engineer from University of A Coruña (2012) and MSc. in Coastal and Port Engineering from the Universidad de Cantabria (2015). She is currently a pre-doctoral researcher at Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering program at the University of Rio de Janeiro. She develops her professional activity as a technologist in the Coastal Engineering and Management Group of IHCantabria, where she participates in various projects related to coastal management, developing risk studies and protection strategies considering the effects of climate change.
In recent years, she has participated in consulting projects in Brazil related to the study of hydrodynamics and sediment transport on the coast.
