Biography

Carlos is a professional with a multidisciplinary background and a commitment to continuous learning. Throughout his academic journey, he has stood out for his dedication to ongoing improvement and the acquisition of new knowledge. He holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate and Business Communication from the European Business School of Barcelona (Isabel I University), where he developed advanced skills in managing communication within organizations. Additionally, he earned a Master’s in Digital Marketing and Analytics and a Master’s in Digital Business from the same institution, allowing him to specialize in digital strategies and online commerce.

Carlos has complemented his education with studies in Communication in Natural Spaces through FUNGOBE, demonstrating his interest in communication in specific contexts and his ability to adapt to different environments. He is also certified in Digital Marketing and Community Management by UNED, equipping him with essential skills to manage online communities and develop effective digital marketing strategies. Furthermore, he has completed specialized courses in Event Management and a Corporate Communication Specialization from DIRCOM. His training is rounded out with studies in Communication, Protocol, and Public Relations from Constanza Business and Protocol School, where he refined his skills in protocol and corporate communication.

Since 2014, Carlos has been part of IHCantabria. In his role, he works to bring the science and knowledge generated by the institution closer to stakeholders and the general public. His mission is to make scientific communication accessible to everyone, promoting the dissemination and understanding of scientific advances. His strengths include media relations, organizing large-scale events, drafting communication plans, and designing communication strategies. He is also an expert in creating educational materials and tailoring messages for different audiences, ensuring that information is clear and understandable.

Throughout his career, he has received several awards and recognitions that highlight his professional excellence and dedication to communication. In 2020, he received the Cantabria Digital Award for Best Professional Website for the institution’s website, and in 2019, the Cantabria Digital Award for Best Solidarity Digital Campaign, recognizing his ability to create impactful and purposeful campaigns. He was also the runner-up in the “1st European Web Design Contest 1and1” and a finalist in the Racing Club Centennial Logo Contest. In the 2016 and 2017 Cantabria Digital Awards, Carlos was a finalist in the Best Personal Website category, reaffirming his commitment to innovation and quality in his digital projects.
