ANDRE CHAGAS DA COSTA NEVES
Biography
Andre holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil and has completed the Erasmus Mundus International Masters of Science in Marine Biological Resources. He is currently developing his doctoral thesis focused on the assessment of estuarine biodiversity through spectroradiometry and remote sensing techniques.
He has carried out research stays in Australia (Univeristy of Queensland), Portugal (Universidade do Algarve), Italy (Università Politecnica delle Marche) and Ireland (Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology). His main interests are in the area of marine conservation, impact assessment and environmental monitoring.
