The LIFE ADAPTA BLUES project launches its 1st competition Adaptation to climate change on the coast – Nature as an ally.<\/p>\n

The objective is to make schoolchildren aware of the effects of climate change on the coast and the possible measures for adaptation, conservation and restoration of estuarine ecosystems.<\/p>\n

The contest is aimed at students of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate of all schools in Cantabria.<\/p>\n

Participants must submit a work (illustration, collage, model, video) in which they present a possible adaptation measure against the effects of climate change in one of the estuaries of Cantabria, which may be submitted until January 28, 2022.<\/p>\n

Registrations can be made on the official website of the competition (https:\/\/concurso.lifeadaptablues.eu\/) or by sending an e-mail to adaptablues@lifeadaptablues.eu, until October 15, 2021.<\/p>\n

The winners will be able to enjoy a theory class on wave formation at the IHCantabria facilities, and a surf class for the students of the winning group of the contest.<\/p>\n
