Lara.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tasks<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u00b7 To develop his\/her PhD Thesis in order to conduct original and significant research.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 To collaborate in research projects connected to the specific topic of the PhD<\/p>\n<h4>Example of scientific-technical specific tasks to be undertaken:<\/h4>\n<p>&#8211; Experimental analysis of sediment transport in vegetated fields.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Experimental and numerical study of the drag forces to which different types of ecosystem are subjected under different flow conditions. The numerical study will be carried out by using CFD tools that allow including the detailed geometry of the ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Study of the attenuation of energy produced by real vegetation fields relating the induced energy attenuation with the biomass of the community.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Development of new formulations for the quantification of the coastal protection provided by different ecosystems attending to the decrease of energy of the incident flow and to the capacity to hold the sediment and create soil.<\/p>\n<h3>Application Procedures<\/h3>\n<p>Candidates must present the following documentation:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0 Completed application form, available at: <a href=\"https:\/\/ihcantabria.com\/es\/fundacionih\/item\/1605-convocatoria-para-la-seleccion-de-personal-n-conv-fihac-03-2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AQU\u00cd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0 Scanned copy of the National Identity Document or Passport.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0 Curriculum, please provide a copy of the documents in order to support your merits.<\/p>\n<h4>Application:<\/h4>\n<p>The documentation required must be submitted to the following email: <a href=\"mailto:ihconvocatoriaperson@unican.es\">ihconvocatoriaperson@unican.es<\/a>, indicating the offer to which it refers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Deadline: 05\/04\/2019 at 13:00 (CET Time)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>1. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements by the Universidad de Cantabria for the Ph.D. program admissions (more info in the following Spanish document:<a href=\"http:\/\/web.unican.es\/estudios\/Documents\/DOCTORADO\/RequisitosAccesoDoctoradoRD9911.pdf\">http:\/\/web.unican.es\/estudios\/Documents\/DOCTORADO\/RequisitosAccesoDoctoradoRD9<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2. Applicants must prove the qualification required.<\/p>\n<h3>Salary and Contract<\/h3>\n<p>The minimum gross yearly salary for this assignment amounts to \u20ac 17.085,36.<\/p>\n<p>The duration of the contract will be initially for 12 months, extendable (on a full-time basis. Hours: Monday to Thursday, from 8:45 to 14 and from 15:15 to 18:00.)
