Biography

Saúl is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Business Administration of the Universidad de Cantabria, as well as a researcher of the Institute of Environmental Hydraulics. He holds an international doctorate from the Universidad de Cantabria, as well as a Master degree on Civil Engineering and an expert course in maritime business and associated logistics. His doctoral thesis proposes a methodology for the integration of concepts such as vulnerability and risk in environmental cost-benefit analysis. During his predoctoral stage, he carried out an internship at the University of Stirling (Scotland).

Since 2008 he has been involved in various national and international projects in the field of applied economics, specifically carrying out feasibility studies of investments and Blue Growth, valuation of natural resources, and climate change and risk analysis.
