Mathematical and statistical analysis of environmental variables (Known in spanish as AMEVA), is a software made up by a set of functions developed in Matlab that integrates several statistical analysis methodologies implemented by IHCantabria researchers, with the aim of studying and characterising environmental variables.

This tool is developed in modules, in order to allow each of its parts to be used independently. The current version includes the following modules: descriptive statistics, table of occurrences, classification, temporal maxima, persistences, calibration, heterocedastic model, distribution fitting, extreme analysis: GEV and POT, Pareto-Poisson.
