STEFANO SUSINI

Tecnologist

stefano.susini@unican.es

+34 942 20 16 16 Ext.12

Biography

Stefano is a technologist in the Marine Climate and Climate Change Group since November 2020. He participates in the implementation of international projects within the field of climate and met-ocean services, developing methodologies for assessing the impact of climate change in strategic sectors such as the offshore industry.

After completing a MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2016 at the University of Genoa and working for companies in the energy sector, he decided to continue his training thanks to an Erasmus Mundus scholarship for the Master in Renewable Energy in the Marine environment (REM). This opportunity allowed him to study in prestigious European universities in the field of fluid mechanics (University of Strathclyde, University of the Basque Country, Ecole Centrale de Nantes) and to get in touch with IHCantabria for the writing of his Master’s Degree.

He has experience in the development of solutions for the offshore industry, especially in relation to maritime climate studies for the evaluation of wind resources and wind actions on structures.
