DAVID LUniversidad de CantabriaIO FERNÁNDEZ
Biography
David Lucio is a predoctoral researcher in the Hydrodynamics and Coastal Infrastructures group at IHCantabria since 2016. David got his degree in Civil Engineering by the Universidad de Cantabria in 2014, he graduated as master in Civil Engineering by the Universidad de Cantabria in 2016 and he got his masters in Coastal and Ports Engineering by the Universidad de Cantabria in 2017. His formative and professional work focuses on the development of innovative methodologies that allow assessing the resilient capacity of coastal and port infrastructures against meteo-oceanographic agents. This research work has allowed him to take part in projects related to the probabilistic design of maritime works, working both in the climate characterization and in the structural response.
RESEARCH LINES
Assessment of the resilient capacity of port infrastructures against climate agents.
Probabilistic design of ports and their breakwaters.
Wave climate characterization (including climate change effects) on port infrastructures.
