The new Shanghai University Ranking was released yesterday. The ShanghaiRanking is considered the most important, objective and influential in the world and, for the first time, this year it expands the ranking to 54 disciplines. The 2018 ranking is based on bibliometric data from scientific publications between 2012-2016 extracted from InCites (Web of Science). The Hydrodynamics and Coastal Infrastructures Group of IHCantabria starts the BRACC project, Breakwater Reliability Assessment by Climate Change. IHCantabria has participated in the last OpenFOAM® release (v1806) by OpenCFD (https://www.openfoam.com/releases/openfoam-v1806/) incorporating a new irregular wave model based on the frequency-direction spectrum to the suite of available wave models. This last release has been added to the generation boundary conditions set in OpenFOAM®, already implemented in previous versions by IHCantabria and Open CFD.
